The Bubble Factory in Essex is holding a beginner glassblowing class on Saturday from 9-10 where you can learn the basic skills of manipulating molten glass in the hotshop. Calling all Disco lovers! Breakaway in Danvers presents “Dancin’ Machine”, re-creating the experience of a 1970's Discotheque. The band is comprised of 11 musicians, with 4 great vocalists, a burning horn section and lots of groovin’ percussion, to recapture the authentic look and sound of the original artists without the use of tracks, sequencers or any other electronic device that plays back music. Introduction to Mountain Biking Class, Sunday in Andover. Knowledgeable instructors will help you learn and practice various riding techniques on a beginner-friendly trail, including body and pedal position, shifting, braking, climbing, descending and navigating minor obstacles on the trail. They will also discuss important communication skills and mountain biking trail etiquette with the aim of keeping multi-use trails open and safe for everyone.! If you don’t have a bike, students will be provided one no additional charge. Recommended for those 14 and older; those under 18 must be accompanied by parent or responsible adult.
